Trimurti Films claims that the track is a blatant, unauthorized recreation of their iconic 1989 song "Tirchi Topiwale" from the classic movie Tridev.
After mediation between the two parties completely failed in court, the lawsuit is now heading to a full trial. Trimurti Films is actively seeking financial damages and an injunction to halt the digital distribution of the movie until the song is removed or a settlement is reached.
